The UK is one of the most mature paid search markets in Europe, and British PPC agencies are used to running Google Ads for clients in the US and the EU as well as at home. This ranking is written for a company from the US, the EU or the Nordics that wants to hire one of the Google Ads agencies in the UK – to win British customers or to run Google Shopping and search campaigns across several markets from a UK team. I am Adrian, an SEO consultant in Wrocław, and I research and write every ranking on this site myself. I kept 8 agencies, all incorporated and headquartered in the UK, and looked each one up on Companies House.

How I ranked the Google Ads agencies in the UK
I ranked the Google Ads agencies in the UK by quality first, fit for a foreign client second and price third:
- PPC focus – agencies where paid search is the core business, such as Bidnamic, PPC Geeks and Circus PPC, rank above full-service agencies of similar quality, unless the full-service agency adds something a buyer needs, such as measurement or SEO.
- Partner badges – whether the agency shows a Google Partner or Google Premier Partner badge, and Microsoft Advertising partner status. I read these badges on the agencies’ own websites and did not cross-check them in Google’s Partners directory; where a badge has no label or comes only from third-party lists, I say so.
- Track record – named clients, awards the agencies cite and case studies. Case-study numbers are the agencies’ own claims, and I quote them as such.
- Reviews – only Impression has Clutch reviews I could use, and seven is a small sample. For the others I say there are no usable reviews and name the strongest other signal.
- Registration and ownership – every agency is registered at Companies House and headquartered in the UK. I name the company number and directors on each profile and disclose group owners where the register shows them.
The list includes only UK-incorporated, UK-headquartered firms and leaves out UK offices of foreign networks and of agencies controlled from abroad – for example Brainlabs, whose site footer names a US entity, and Jellyfish, which is majority owned by the French group Fimalac. Agencies that sell paid search as part of a broader programme also appear in my ranking of marketing agencies in the UK.
The 8 best Google Ads agencies in the UK, reviewed
Every Google Ads agency in the UK below gets the same treatment: who they are, what clients say, the facts that matter when you hire, and my opinion on who should – and should not – work with them.
1. Bidnamic
Google Shopping and Performance Max specialist with its own bidding technology
Bidnamic is a Leeds paid search agency built around its own bidding software, and it works almost entirely on Google Shopping, Performance Max, product-feed optimisation and Microsoft Advertising for retailers. It also runs its own Comparison Shopping Service (CSS), and says it serves more than 250 growth brands and has optimised over £1bn of Shopping spend. Its site footer shows Google Premier Partner and Google CSS Premier Partner status, and it shows a Microsoft Advertising Elite Partner badge on its site; I did not cross-check either in the partner directories. The agency reports +526% Shopping revenue for Rab (June to December 2024 against the same period of 2023) and +661% year-on-year Shopping revenue for Oh Polly. The managed service has no published price; a separate Shopify app works on a revenue share, with Bidnamic funding extra ad spend and taking a share of verified sales. The operating company is LADS STORE LIMITED, trading as Bidnamic, and its privacy policy names a wholly owned US subsidiary, Bidnamic Inc. I did not verify its investors.
What clients say. I found no usable reviews. The strongest signals are its retail client list – Boden, Herschel Supply Co., Volcom, schuh, Rab, Huel, Oh Polly and Dermalogica – and the fact that it builds its own bidding software and CSS.
Facts: Leeds · English.
My take: the specialist I would hire first when Google Shopping and Performance Max are your main revenue channel, whether you sell in the UK, the EU or the US. Best for: retailers with large catalogues for whom Google Shopping and Performance Max are the main revenue channel. Not for: lead-generation, B2B or service businesses, and buyers who want paid social as well.

2. PPC Geeks
Dedicated PPC agency with a Google Ads Premier Partner badge
PPC Geeks is a pay-per-click specialist headquartered in Liverpool, with further offices in Knutsford (Cheshire), Chelsea (London) and Kendal. Its core is Google Ads management for e-commerce and lead generation, including Shopping feed optimisation, and it also runs Microsoft Advertising, Amazon, YouTube and paid social on Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok. It shows a Google Ads Premier Partner 2026 badge on its site, which I did not cross-check in Google’s Partners directory; I saw no Microsoft Advertising partner badge. The agency reports an average 10.1x ROAS for its e-commerce clients last year, +65% revenue in six months for IT Bay and +33% conversion rate for Books2Door. It publishes no management fees, but offers a free account audit and runs PPC training courses.
What clients say. There are no usable reviews I could confirm: the site says it has 181 reviews across Google, Trustpilot and Clutch, but I did not check them on those platforms. The stronger signal is a PPC-only team with a Premier badge and named clients such as the Prince’s Trust, Whisky Online, Books2Door, IT Bay, Just Go and Sky Park Secure.
Facts: founded 2018 · Liverpool · English.
My take: my pick for an SME or online shop that wants a pure Google Ads team with hands-on account management and a free audit to start. Best for: UK SMEs and e-commerce shops that want a pure Google Ads and Shopping team with hands-on account management. Not for: enterprise brands that need integrated brand, creative and media planning.

3. Bind Media
B Corp paid media specialist for search, social and performance creative
Bind Media is a paid media agency in Bath (its registered office is in Bristol) covering paid search, Shopping, paid social including LinkedIn, Amazon Ads, performance creative such as UGC and landing pages, and measurement with GA4, Google Tag Manager and consent tools. It is a certified B Corp, and its site lists four UK and European Search Awards wins, three European Paid Media Awards wins and eighth place in The Drum’s Indie 100 for 2026. It shows a “Premier Partner” badge on its site without naming the platform – very likely Google, but I could not confirm it in Google’s Partners directory. The agency reports +56% ROAS and +351% sales for heycar and +427% pipeline value for Strava for Business. Prices are not published.
What clients say. I found no usable reviews. The strongest signals are its award record and clients such as heycar, Strava for Business, Pet Drugs Online, Furniture Online, Cloudways by DigitalOcean and Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks.
Facts: founded 2018 · Bath · English.
My take: the independent team I would choose when paid search, paid social and the creative for both should come from one place. Best for: e-commerce and B2B brands that want an award-winning independent paid search and paid social team with in-house creative. Not for: buyers who need SEO, PR or offline media from the same agency.

4. Impression
Large independent search agency with a strong paid media practice
Impression is a Nottingham-headquartered search and performance agency with offices in London, Manchester and New York. Paid media is one of its two main practices: the team runs Google Ads, Shopping and Performance Max, Microsoft Advertising and paid social alongside SEO and digital PR, so it is a full-service search agency rather than a PPC-only shop. Third-party partner lists name it as a Google Premier Partner, which I did not re-check in Google’s directory. Headlines on its blog report six shortlistings at the 2025 UK Search Awards and three wins at the 2025 European Paid Media Awards, and it is a certified B Corp. Since July 2024 the person with significant control has been Impression Digital Group Limited, replacing the founders Aaron Dicks and Thomas Craig; I did not verify who owns the group.
What clients say. Clutch: 4.9/5 from 7 reviews. All seven reviewers are from the UK and praise quality, communication, timeliness and transparency. Criticisms are dense PPC reporting, some early over-servicing and occasional communication gaps, and cost is the lowest-rated item – one reviewer calls it “not a cheap agency, but you get what you pay for”.
Facts: founded 2012 · Nottingham · 50–249 people · $150–199/h · minimum project $5,000 · English.
My take: the agency I would brief when paid search has to be planned together with SEO and analytics by one large independent team. Best for: mid-market and enterprise brands that want paid search run together with SEO and analytics by one large independent team. Not for: small budgets, given the $5,000 Clutch minimum, or buyers who want a PPC-only specialist.

5. Found
London search agency for PPC, paid social and SEO, with a PPC award for 2026
Found is a London search and performance agency with a New York office, covering PPC, paid social and programmatic alongside SEO, digital PR, data science and CRO. It shows Google Premier Partner, Meta partner and Microsoft partner badges on its site, which I did not cross-check in the platforms’ directories, and its site says it won Standout PPC Agency of the Year at the UK Digital Excellence Awards 2026. The agency reports +40% year-on-year growth for Toolstation with a 10% stronger target ROAS. Found is part of Tomorrow Group, which also owns the influencer agency Disrupt and the data consultancy Braidr. Its privacy policy names Found Group Limited, a head-office company, so the company that signs your contract may be a different group entity. Prices are not published.
What clients say. I found no usable reviews: the only rating I saw is a Google widget on its own site showing 4.8 from 12 reviews, which I did not check on Google Maps. The stronger signals are its PPC award and clients such as Toolstation, Puma, TOMS, Adecco, Peacocks, Ennismore and ManyPets.
Facts: London · English.
My take: a strong choice for a consumer or hospitality brand that wants Google Ads, paid social and SEO from one London team. Best for: mid-market consumer and hospitality brands that want PPC, paid social and SEO from one London team. Not for: buyers who want a small PPC-only boutique.

6. Journey Further
Performance marketing agency with paid search and marketing science at its core
Journey Further is a performance agency founded in Leeds in 2017, with offices in Leeds, Manchester, London and New York. It is built around paid media – Google Ads, Shopping and paid social – combined with organic search and a marketing-science team for measurement. Its site cites Campaign’s Global Performance Marketing Agency of the Year two years running, and in 2025 it acquired the influencer agency Saulderson Media. The partner badges on its homepage carry no text labels, so I could not confirm a Google Premier Partner status. Since April 2022 the person with significant control of the operating company has been Journey Further Group Limited. Clutch now lists New York as its headquarters, but the operating company is registered in England.
What clients say. I found no usable reviews on Clutch. The strongest signals are its performance-marketing awards and clients such as Adobe, Boots Hearingcare, Sofa.com, La Redoute, The Diamond Store and Ancile Insurance Group.
Facts: founded 2017 · Leeds · 50–249 people · $150–199/h · minimum project $10,000 · English.
My take: my pick for a large paid search budget that needs proper measurement, run by a team that already works in the US. Best for: growth-stage and enterprise brands that want large-budget paid search with measurement science, in the UK and the US. Not for: small budgets, as the Clutch minimum is $10,000.

7. Circus PPC
Leeds paid search and paid social specialist
Circus PPC is a Leeds paid media agency focused on paid search on Google and Microsoft and paid social on Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn, plus account audits. It says its team has more than 20 years of paid-media experience and has managed more than 300 clients, and it shows Google Premier Partner and Microsoft partner logos on its site, which I did not cross-check in the directories. The agency reports +287% PPC revenue for Jo Alexander and a headline “150% average growth in the first 3 months”, without stating how that is measured. Prices are not published. The company was called Tell Marketing Ltd until 2015. When I checked, Companies House showed its latest accounts made up to 31 December 2023, so make sure its filings are up to date before you sign.
What clients say. I found no usable reviews. The strongest signal is the client logos on its site – Sofas & Stuff, Lavazza, Miele, Smiggle, MoneySuperMarket, Kiddies Kingdom and Cheesegeek – though some of them may be past work.
Facts: founded 2012 · Leeds · English.
My take: a lean option for a retailer that wants Google and Meta run by one focused PPC team rather than a full-service agency. Best for: retail and e-commerce brands that want a focused PPC team covering Google and Meta without paying for a full-service agency. Not for: buyers needing SEO, PR or large-scale creative production.

8. Hallam
B2B-focused digital agency with a paid media team and a Google Premier Partner badge
Hallam is a B2B-focused digital marketing agency from Nottingham, with a second office at King’s Cross in London. Paid media sits inside a broader offer of brand and creative, organic and AI search, ABM, digital PR, content, web development, CRO and analytics. It shows Google Premier Partner and Meta Business Partner badges on its site, which I did not cross-check in the directories. It is a certified B Corp, and its site cites Marketing Week Campaign of the Year 2024 and a Global Search Awards 2024 win. The person with significant control is Clock Tower Digital Limited, and an Employee Ownership Trust logo on its site suggests employee ownership, which I could not confirm on Companies House.
What clients say. I found no usable reviews on Clutch. The strongest signal is its B2B client list: Lattice, Workbooks, Hitachi Solutions, Holcim UK, Version 1, Pendo and CovertSwarm.
Facts: founded 1999 · Nottingham · 50–249 people · $150–199/h · minimum project $5,000 · English.
My take: the right fit when Google Ads is one part of a B2B brand and ABM programme rather than a stand-alone channel. Best for: B2B tech and industrial companies that want paid search inside an integrated brand and ABM programme. Not for: e-commerce brands that want a pure Shopping and Performance Max specialist.

Quality, specialisation and what Google Ads agencies in the UK charge
Only three Google Ads agencies in the UK in this ranking show a rate on Clutch – Impression, Journey Further and Hallam, all at $150–199 an hour, with minimum projects of $5,000 to $10,000. None of the PPC specialists publishes a management fee: PPC Geeks offers a free account audit, and Bidnamic prices its managed service on request, while its Shopify app works on a share of verified sales. In practice, UK PPC agencies charge in one of three ways: a percentage of ad spend, often with a monthly minimum, a flat monthly management fee, or a mix of both. The ad budget itself is paid on top, usually straight to Google from your own account. Ask which model applies, what minimum spend the agency expects and whether set-up, feed work and tracking are billed separately. UK agencies normally invoice in pounds sterling (GBP), so agree the currency in the contract. If cost matters most, see the same list for Poland, where rates are lower.
The main choice is between PPC specialists – Bidnamic for Shopping and Performance Max, PPC Geeks for hands-on Google Ads management and Circus PPC for Google plus Meta – independent paid media teams such as Bind Media, and larger search agencies that combine PPC with SEO and measurement, such as Impression, Found and Journey Further. Hallam is the B2B option.
How to choose a Google Ads agency in the UK
Choosing a Google Ads agency in the UK starts with the kind of account you run:
- E-commerce or lead generation – a large product catalogue needs Shopping, feeds and Performance Max (Bidnamic, PPC Geeks, Bind Media); B2B lead generation needs pipeline tracking and often LinkedIn as well (Hallam).
- What a badge means – a Google Partner badge means the agency meets Google’s thresholds for spend, certified staff and account performance; Premier Partner is the top tier, given to roughly the top 3% of partner agencies in a country each year. It says nothing about your account, so ask for case studies in your sector and check the current status in Google’s Partners directory.
- Who owns the account – the Google Ads account, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Merchant Center feed and all conversion tracking should be set up under your own company, with the agency given access. If the agency leaves, your campaign history and conversion data should stay with you. Put this in the contract.
- The notice period – ask about the minimum term and notice period before you sign, and who will actually work on your account day to day.
- Time zone – the UK runs on GMT in winter and BST in summer, which overlaps the whole working day in the EU and the morning on the US East Coast. Impression, Found and Journey Further also have New York offices.
Also check the paperwork when you hire a Google Ads agency in the UK. Look the company up on the free Companies House register (find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk) to see whether it is active, who its directors and persons with significant control are and whether its accounts are filed on time – I list the company number on each profile. Since Brexit, B2B services supplied by a UK agency to a business outside the UK are normally invoiced without UK VAT, and EU businesses usually account for VAT at home under the reverse charge; ad spend billed by Google itself follows Google’s own invoicing. Confirm the treatment with the agency and your accountant – this is not legal or tax advice.
Google Ads agencies in the UK: FAQ
The questions foreign companies ask most before hiring Google Ads agencies in the UK.
Are the Google Premier Partner badges of these agencies verified?
No, I did not verify the Google Premier Partner badges of these agencies in Google’s own Partners directory – I read them on the agencies’ websites. Bidnamic, PPC Geeks, Found, Circus PPC and Hallam show a Premier badge; Bind Media’s badge does not name the platform, Impression’s status comes from third-party lists and Journey Further’s badges have no labels. Check the current status before you sign.
How much do Google Ads agencies in the UK charge?
Google Ads agencies in the UK charge $150–199 an hour where they show a rate on Clutch, with minimum projects from $5,000 to $10,000. Most PPC specialists quote a percentage of ad spend or a flat monthly fee after an audit, and the ad budget is paid on top.
Do Google Ads agencies in the UK charge VAT to foreign clients?
No, Google Ads agencies in the UK normally do not charge UK VAT on B2B services to businesses outside the UK. EU businesses usually account for VAT at home under the reverse charge; check your own case with the agency and your accountant.
Should I own the Google Ads account when I hire a Google Ads agency in the UK?
Yes, you should own the Google Ads account when you hire a Google Ads agency in the UK, together with Analytics, Tag Manager, Merchant Center and the conversion data. Give the agency access rather than letting it create the account under its own name, so the history stays with you if you change agencies.
My verdict: which Google Ads agency in the UK to hire
Choosing among Google Ads agencies in the UK depends on your business model. For a retailer whose revenue depends on Google Shopping and Performance Max, hire Bidnamic. For hands-on Google Ads management for an SME, hire PPC Geeks. For paid search and paid social with in-house creative, hire Bind Media. For PPC planned together with SEO and analytics, hire Impression. For a large budget that needs measurement science and a US presence, hire Journey Further. For B2B, talk to Hallam.
Whichever Google Ads agency in the UK you choose, check it on Companies House, agree the fee model, the minimum spend and the currency in writing, and make sure the ad accounts, pixel and conversion data are yours from day one.
