Best PR Agencies in the Czech Republic (2026): 7 Agencies Reviewed

The Czech media scene is small and close-knit, and almost all of it works in Czech, so personal contacts with journalists and native-language writing count for a lot. This ranking is written for a company from the US, the UK, another EU country or the Nordics that wants to hire PR agencies in the Czech Republic – for a market entry, a product launch, crisis or financial communication, or public affairs with Czech institutions. I kept 7 agencies, all registered in the Czech commercial register, and checked each one’s IČO, register file and owners in ARES.

PR agencies in the Czech Republic at a glance

If you only have a minute, these are the PR agencies in the Czech Republic I would shortlist as a foreign company, in the order I would contact them. Each is reviewed below, with its registry data on its company profile.

  1. AMI Communications – The largest independent Czech PR and public-affairs group, with offices in Slovakia and Bulgaria.
  2. PRAM Consulting – Owner-led Prague PR agency with a long list of global tech, consumer and sports brands.
  3. Bison & Rose – Award-winning Prague agency for corporate, financial and crisis PR; Czech and Slovak affiliate of Burson.
  4. Native PR – Founder-owned Prague corporate-PR consultancy, active since 1993 with more than 100 clients.
  5. Ewing – Independent Prague PR and public-affairs agency since 1993, member of the PROI network.
  6. Crest Communications – Prague and Ostrava PR agency for real estate, finance, industry and energy; IPRN member.
  7. Boomerang Communication – Independent Prague creative, campaign and PR agency since 2001.

How I ranked the PR agencies in the Czech Republic

I ranked the PR agencies in the Czech Republic by quality first, fit for a foreign client second and price third:

  • Track record – years on the market, named clients and awards such as SABRE and the Česká cena za PR.
  • Specialisation – media relations, public affairs, crisis, financial and investor relations, or PR combined with creative campaigns.
  • Fit for a foreign buyer – work for international brands, as at PRAM Consulting and Native PR, an English-language website, and coverage of Slovakia.
  • Reviews – none of these agencies has a Clutch profile I could find, which is normal for PR. I say so for each one and name the strongest other signal instead.
  • Registration and ownership – IČO, register court and file number, directors and shareholders come from ARES, the Czech public register portal. I did not read filed accounts, so I quote no revenue figures.

The list includes only firms registered and headquartered in the Czech Republic. I left out the Prague offices of foreign networks – among them FleishmanHillard, Grayling, Havas PR, MSL and Ogilvy. Bison & Rose stays in because it is Czech-owned; it is the local affiliate of Burson, not part of it. Agencies that sell PR inside broader marketing programmes are in my ranking of marketing agencies in the Czech Republic.

The 7 best PR agencies in the Czech Republic, reviewed

Every PR agency in the Czech Republic below gets the same treatment: who they are, what clients say, the facts that matter when you hire, and my opinion on who should – and should not – work with them.

1. AMI Communications

The largest independent Czech PR and public-affairs group, with offices in Slovakia and Bulgaria

AMI Communications is a Prague PR group that covers strategic planning, media relations, public affairs, third-party communication, influencer work and social media. Its profile with APRA, the Czech PR agencies association, says it has led the Czech PR market since the start of the century by domestic statistics and that PRovoke Media ranks it among the top 50 agencies in continental Europe. It reports more than 100 awards, including SABRE, European Excellence Awards and the Česká cena za PR, and has offices in Slovakia and Bulgaria. Its website gives both 20+ and 30+ years on the market, so I leave the founding year open. One thing to check: the IČO I list belongs to the group holding, AMI Communications Group SE, and the operating Czech agency may be a separate subsidiary, so ask which company will sign your contract. Managing partners Milan Hejl and Marek Stránský and partner Kučmáš are named on APRA; ARES does not list the shareholders.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. Its awards and client list are the strongest signal: Generali Česká pojišťovna, J&T Banka, Mattoni 1873, Colt CZ Group, HP and Rolls-Royce SMR.

Facts: Prague · Czech, Slovak.

My take: the agency I would call first for heavyweight media relations or public affairs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Best for: corporates and investors that need heavyweight media relations and public affairs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Not for: small product launches on a tight budget.

2. PRAM Consulting

Owner-led Prague PR agency with a long list of global tech, consumer and sports brands

PRAM Consulting is a Prague 5 PR agency registered in 2004 and 100% owned by its managing partner, Patrik Schober. Its references include the NBA, the NHL, Microsoft, Panasonic, Red Hat, Salesforce, PayPal, Jack Daniel’s and Rohlík, and it holds the ICCO Consultancy Management Standard. Its website is in Czech and English.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. Its client list of international brands is the strongest signal – it is the agency here with the clearest record of working for foreign companies in the Czech market.

Facts: founded 2004 · Prague · Czech, English.

My take: my pick for a foreign tech, consumer or sports brand that wants a Czech media-relations partner used to international clients. Best for: international tech, consumer and sports brands that need a Czech media-relations partner. Not for: mandates that are mainly public affairs.

3. Bison & Rose

Award-winning Prague agency for corporate, financial and crisis PR; Czech and Slovak affiliate of Burson

Bison & Rose is a Prague agency registered in 1998 that has done corporate, product and crisis communication for about 25 years. It specialises in financial and litigation PR, crisis communication and employer branding, has in-house digital and production teams and an office in Bratislava. Its awards include a first place at the SABRE Awards (for the CTP Art Wall), a Golden Drum and many places in the Česká cena za PR. Ownership and network: it is 100% owned by the Czech holding B&R Holding, s.r.o., and it is the exclusive Czech and Slovak affiliate of Burson, the PR network of the British WPP group – an affiliate, not owned by Burson or WPP. Its managing partners are Vladimír Bystrov and Roman Šmíd.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. Its awards and clients are the signal: Pilsner Urquell, Nestlé, Photon Energy, CTP and ČSOB.

Facts: founded 1998 · Prague · Czech, Slovak.

My take: the agency I would hire for crisis or financial PR in the Czech Republic when I also want access to a global network. Best for: listed companies, real-estate and financial firms that need crisis or financial PR with global network reach. Not for: buyers who want an agency with no ties to an international network.

4. Native PR

Founder-owned Prague corporate-PR consultancy, active since 1993 with more than 100 clients

Native PR is a Prague 1 consultancy that has been on the Czech PR market since 1993 and is 100% owned by its founder and managing partner, Václav Pavelka. It focuses on corporate communication and PR consultancy, and works in foreign markets through long-standing partners. It says it has worked for more than 100 clients.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. Its list of multinational clients is the strongest signal: MOL, Wüstenrot, Mondi, Saxo Bank, McDonald’s, Moneta, Siemens and Pfizer.

Facts: founded 1993 · Prague · Czech, English.

My take: a strong choice for a multinational that wants senior, stable corporate-PR counsel in the Czech Republic. Best for: multinationals that want senior, stable corporate-PR counsel in the Czech Republic. Not for: digital-first social media or influencer campaigns.

5. Ewing

Independent Prague PR and public-affairs agency since 1993, member of the PROI network

Ewing is a Prague 7 agency registered since 1993 that covers corporate and crisis communication, public affairs, marketing campaigns and digital work such as social media, performance and media buying. It runs eight sector expert groups and its own AI pre-testing platform, Hatched by AI. It is a member of PROI, a global network of independent agencies, which is a partnership rather than an owner. According to ARES, the Czech company Ewing Group, a.s. holds 80% and four individuals 5% each.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no client names, so there are no usable reviews. The strongest signal is more than 30 years on the Czech market and its membership of an international network of independent agencies.

Facts: founded 1993 · Prague · Czech.

My take: worth a call when you need corporate, crisis or public-affairs work with Czech institutions and can work in Czech. Best for: companies that need corporate, crisis and public-affairs work with Czech institutions. Not for: buyers who want an English-first account team – its website is in Czech only.

6. Crest Communications

Prague and Ostrava PR agency for real estate, finance, industry and energy; IPRN member

Crest Communications is a PR agency registered since 2004, with offices in Prague and Ostrava. It provides media relations, social media, digital marketing, investor relations, media training and crisis communication. It is a member of IPRN, an international partnership of independent PR agencies, has been an APRA member since 2005 and has held the Consultancy Management Standard certificate since 2007. Its website names Aleš Langr and Jaroslav Matyáš as managing partners; ARES does not show its shareholders.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. The clients I could confirm come only from its press releases – Invesco and PLANEO – so its long APRA membership and its sector focus are the stronger signal.

Facts: founded 2004 · Prague · Czech, English.

My take: a good fit for a real-estate developer, financial or industrial firm that needs media and investor relations in the Czech Republic. Best for: real-estate developers and financial and industrial firms that need media and investor relations. Not for: consumer influencer campaigns.

7. Boomerang Communication

Independent Prague creative, campaign and PR agency since 2001

Boomerang Communication is a Prague 7 agency registered in 2001 that runs integrated campaigns and, through Boomerang PR, product and corporate communication, crisis scenarios, CSR and influencer work. Its website shows Effie, Zlatý středník and Agentura roku award logos. Ownership: according to ARES, DIKE MS LTD, a holding company registered in Cyprus, holds 45%, and three Czech individuals hold the rest (25%, 15% and 15%); I did not verify who is behind the Cyprus company. Boomerang PR may be a separate company, so ask which one you contract with.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. Its awards and client list are the signal: Plzeňský Prazdroj, O2, ČEZ, Česká spořitelna, Volkswagen, Albert and Kooperativa (Flexi).

Facts: founded 2001 · Prague · Czech, English.

My take: an option for a consumer brand that wants PR and creative campaigns from one Czech agency. Best for: consumer brands that want PR combined with creative campaigns. Not for: pure financial, investor-relations or public-affairs work.

Quality, specialisation and what PR agencies in the Czech Republic charge

None of the PR agencies in the Czech Republic in this ranking publishes a rate: they quote a monthly retainer or a project fee after a briefing. Invoices are usually in Czech koruna (CZK), though many agencies will invoice foreign clients in EUR. As a general observation, Czech PR fees are clearly lower than in Western Europe, and the cost depends mostly on how senior the team is and how much media and stakeholder work you need each month.

The main choice is between a large PR and public-affairs group (AMI Communications), media-relations agencies used to foreign brands (PRAM Consulting, Native PR), crisis and financial PR with a global network (Bison & Rose), corporate and public-affairs specialists (Ewing, Crest Communications) and PR combined with creative campaigns (Boomerang Communication).

How to choose a PR agency in the Czech Republic

Choosing a PR agency in the Czech Republic starts with the kind of communication you need:

  • Media relations for a foreign brand – PRAM Consulting and Native PR have the longest lists of international clients.
  • Public affairs – AMI Communications and Ewing work with Czech institutions; ask for examples in your sector.
  • Crisis, financial and investor relations – Bison & Rose and Crest Communications specialise in these.
  • Language – Czech journalists expect press releases and interviews in Czech, so the agency must write native Czech. English is widely used in business and tech, and several agencies here also work in Slovak, but some, such as Ewing, present themselves in Czech only. Agree the language of your calls and reports.
  • Slovakia – AMI Communications and Bison & Rose have Bratislava or Slovak offices; ask whether the Slovak work is done locally.

Also check the paperwork when you hire a PR agency in the Czech Republic. Look up the IČO (the eight-digit company number) in ARES (ares.gov.cz) or in the Obchodní rejstřík at or.justice.cz, where the Sbírka listin holds the company’s filed documents and annual accounts – note that many Czech companies file their accounts late. Check the VAT number (DIČ, usually CZ followed by the IČO) in the EU’s VIES database. If your business is in another EU country and gives its own VAT number, the reverse charge usually applies and the invoice carries no Czech VAT; for a business outside the EU, Czech VAT is in most cases not charged on these services. Confirm with your adviser – this is not legal or tax advice. The Czech Republic is on Central European Time (CET), the same as Germany. For comparison, here is the same list for Poland, where rates are lower.

PR agencies in the Czech Republic: FAQ

The questions foreign companies ask most before hiring PR agencies in the Czech Republic.

Do PR agencies in the Czech Republic work in English?

Yes, most PR agencies in the Czech Republic that serve international clients work in English, and PRAM Consulting, Native PR and Crest Communications have English websites. The media work itself is done in Czech, and some agencies, such as Ewing, present themselves in Czech only.

Is Bison & Rose part of Burson?

No, Bison & Rose is not part of Burson: it is owned by a Czech holding company and is Burson’s exclusive affiliate for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. That gives it access to the network without being owned by WPP.

How much do PR agencies in the Czech Republic charge?

PR agencies in the Czech Republic charge a monthly retainer or a project fee quoted after a briefing, and none of the seven in this ranking publishes rates. Fees are usually in CZK, often with EUR invoices possible, and lower than in Western Europe.

Which PR agency in the Czech Republic is best for public affairs?

The best PR agency in the Czech Republic for public affairs, in my view, is AMI Communications, which describes itself as the market leader and covers public affairs and third-party communication. Ewing is a strong alternative for work with Czech institutions.

My verdict: which PR agency in the Czech Republic to hire

Choosing among PR agencies in the Czech Republic depends on the job. For heavyweight media relations and public affairs, hire AMI Communications – after confirming the contracting entity. For a foreign tech or consumer brand, hire PRAM Consulting. For crisis or financial PR with a global network behind it, hire Bison & Rose. For senior corporate counsel, hire Native PR.

Whichever PR agency in the Czech Republic you choose, agree the spokespeople, the approval process for Czech-language statements and the reporting language before the first press release goes out.
