Ireland is one of the easiest countries in Europe for a foreign buyer to outsource IT to: the work is done in English, invoices are in euros and the working day lines up with London. This ranking is written for a company from the US, the UK, another EU country or the Nordics that is looking for IT outsourcing companies in Ireland for managed services, cloud or cyber-security. I kept 6 companies, all registered with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) and headquartered in Ireland, and looked each one up by its CRO number.
IT outsourcing companies in Ireland at a glance
If you only have a minute, these are the IT outsourcing companies in Ireland I would shortlist as a foreign company, in the order I would contact them. Each is reviewed below, with its registry data on its company profile.
- Version 1 – Ireland’s largest home-grown IT services group – cloud, data and AI, enterprise applications and managed services.
- Auxilion – Managed ICT services, cloud and digital transformation for Irish enterprises and public bodies.
- Datapac – Nationwide managed IT, infrastructure and Dynamics 365 provider since 1982.
- Integrity360 – Irish-founded managed cyber-security and SOC provider with offices across Europe.
- Smarttech247 – Cork-founded managed detection and response and offensive-security provider.

How I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in Ireland
I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in Ireland by quality first, fit for a foreign client second and price third:
- Scope – full managed IT and enterprise applications (Version 1, Auxilion, Datapac) ranked above specialist security providers (Integrity360, Smarttech247, CWSI), which are strong but narrower.
- Track record – years on the market, named clients and office networks, as published by the companies themselves.
- Reviews – none of the six has a usable Clutch or Google review sample, so for each one I name the strongest other signal.
- Registration and ownership – CRO number, legal form and incorporation date come from solocheck.ie, which republishes CRO data. Irish companies mostly file abridged accounts, so I quote no revenue. I disclose ownership: Version 1 is majority-owned by Partners Group, Integrity360 by August Equity, CWSI has raised money from Castlegate Investments, Auxilion is part of the I.T. Alliance Group, and Smarttech247’s listed parent is registered in England and Wales.
The list includes only firms registered and headquartered in Ireland. I left out the Irish offices of foreign integrators and networks, such as Accenture and IBM. Team sizes are the companies’ own or published figures, and I left them blank where I found none.
The 6 best IT outsourcing companies in Ireland, reviewed
Every IT outsourcing company in Ireland below gets the same treatment: who they are, what the evidence says, the facts that matter when you hire, and my opinion on who should – and should not – work with them.
1. Version 1
Ireland’s largest home-grown IT services group – cloud, data and AI, enterprise applications and managed services
Version 1 is a Dublin-headquartered IT services company founded in 1996 by Justin Keatinge and John Mullen. It covers AI and data, cloud transformation, Oracle and Microsoft enterprise applications, consultancy, managed services and software asset management, and has delivery centres in the UK, Spain, India and other countries. It opened a new Dublin headquarters and AI studio in March 2026 and bought the UK digital firm CreateFuture in May 2026. Clients named on its site include Aon, Hays, National Highways, HM Land Registry, NatWest, Channel 4 and Ireland’s Department of Social Protection. Ownership: the Swiss private-markets firm Partners Group has been the majority owner since 2022, when it bought the stake from Volpi Capital (RTÉ, April 2022); the company stays Irish-founded and Dublin-headquartered. The staff figure of more than 3,000 comes from a press report, not from the company register.
What clients say. I found no usable Clutch or Google review sample. Its 30 years on the market, its public-sector and enterprise client list on both sides of the Irish Sea and its “Large company” size category at the CRO are the strongest signals.
Facts: founded 1996 · Dublin (HQ), with UK, Spanish and Indian delivery centres · 3,000+ people · English.
My take: my first call as a larger company that wants Oracle, Microsoft or cloud work run as a managed service by an Irish-headquartered provider. Best for: large enterprises and public bodies that need Oracle, Microsoft or AWS managed services and modernisation at scale. Not for: small companies with ad-hoc IT support needs.

2. Auxilion
Managed ICT services, cloud and digital transformation for Irish enterprises and public bodies
Auxilion is an Irish-headquartered ICT services provider in Park West, Dublin, with a UK presence. It offers strategic consulting and programme management, cloud and hybrid infrastructure, security and networking, the Microsoft modern workplace, managed ICT services and flexible resourcing. Clients named on its site include the HSE, Coillte, SEAI, Applegreen, Irish Continental Group, Lakeland Dairies, SISK and Mainstream Renewable Power. Ownership: Auxilion is part of the I.T. Alliance Group, an Irish IT group; I did not check who ultimately owns that group.
What clients say. I found no usable Clutch or Google review sample. Its list of Irish public bodies and large Irish companies as clients is the strongest signal.
Facts: founded 2001 · Dublin (Park West), with a UK presence · English.
My take: the provider I would brief for a mix of consulting, cloud and service desk from one Irish partner. Best for: organisations that want an Irish managed-services partner combining consulting, cloud and service desk. Not for: software product development.

3. Datapac
Nationwide managed IT, infrastructure and Dynamics 365 provider since 1982
Datapac is an Irish IT services company founded in 1982 and headquartered in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, with offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Belfast. Its services cover managed IT and support, device-as-a-service, cyber-security and NIS2 compliance, data-centre and cloud infrastructure, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and IT procurement. Testimonials on its site come from the Irish Equine Centre, Thorntons Recycling, Kefron and Wexford Festival Opera. Its website does not say who owns it.
What clients say. I found no usable Clutch or Google review sample. More than 40 years on the market and an office network across the island of Ireland are the strongest signals.
Facts: founded 1982 · Enniscorthy (Co. Wexford), with offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Belfast · English.
My take: a good choice for a mid-size company that wants outsourced IT with on-site engineers anywhere in Ireland. Best for: SMEs and mid-market firms that need outsourced IT with nationwide on-site coverage. Not for: software engineering projects.

4. Integrity360
Irish-founded managed cyber-security and SOC provider with offices across Europe
Integrity360 is a cyber-security services company founded in 2005 and based in Sandyford, Dublin. It says it has more than 600 security experts, eight security operations centres (SOCs) and offices in the UK, the Nordics, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, South Africa, Ukraine, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Canada. It provides managed detection and response, managed cyber services, incident response, identity services, governance, risk and compliance, penetration testing, PCI compliance and OT security, and recently bought the identity specialist CyberIAM. Ownership: the UK private-equity firm August Equity acquired the company around 2021 (ChannelWeb); the stake was not stated and I did not re-check later ownership. It is a security specialist rather than a general IT outsourcer.
What clients say. I found no usable Clutch or Google review sample. Its scale – eight SOCs and more than 600 specialists, by its own figures – and its European office network are the strongest signals.
Facts: founded 2005 · Dublin (Sandyford), 16 locations in 13 countries · 600+ people · English.
My take: the firm I would call first to outsource a 24/7 SOC and compliance work across several European countries. Best for: mid-size and large companies that want to outsource a 24/7 SOC, MDR and compliance across several European countries. Not for: small firms that want general desktop support.

5. Smarttech247
Cork-founded managed detection and response and offensive-security provider
Smarttech247 is a Cork-founded cyber-security company offering 24/7 managed detection and response, managed XDR, incident response, threat intelligence, penetration testing and red teaming, and vCISO and NIS2 consulting on its VisionX platform. It lists offices in Cork, Belfast, Bucharest, Kraków, New York and Zurich, and names clients such as AutoNation, BioMarin, Laya Healthcare, Dairygold, DCU, FBD Insurance, RCSI and Menzies Aviation. The structure needs a plain explanation: the company you deal with in Ireland is Zefone Limited, an Irish company registered in Cork in 2003 that trades as Smarttech247. Above it sits Smarttech247 Group plc, the listed holding company, which is registered in England and Wales (no. 14385467). The founder, Ronan Murphy, held about 70% of that plc according to its annual report for the year to July 2023. So the business is run from Cork and controlled by its Irish founder, but its top company is British.
What clients say. I found no usable Clutch or Google review sample. Its listed parent, which publishes annual reports, and its named client list are the strongest signals.
Facts: founded 2008 · Cork, with offices in Belfast, Bucharest, Kraków, New York and Zurich · English.
My take: a strong option for a company that wants MDR and penetration testing from a Cork team that also has offices in Kraków and Bucharest. Best for: companies that want to outsource SOC, MDR and penetration testing at competitive cost. Not for: buyers who need a general IT service desk.

6. CWSI
Microsoft-centric mobile, identity and data security services for Ireland, the UK and Benelux
CWSI is a Dublin security services provider with offices in Sandyford, Utrecht, Reading, Luxembourg and Brussels. It works on securing endpoints, identity, data and AI, with assessments, deployment and migration, technical support and managed security services sold as DeviceGuard, IdentityGuard and DataGuard. Clients named on its site include Ryanair, Škoda UK, Amsterdam UMC and Studio 100. Ownership: in 2022 CWSI raised €21m from Castlegate Investments and an Irish bank and bought the Dutch firm BLAUD (RTÉ, April 2022); the size of Castlegate’s stake was not stated, and I did not confirm who controls the company. The Irish company is registered as a “Small company”, so a group company may sit above it.
What clients say. I found no usable Clutch or Google review sample. Its client list – Ryanair among them – and its Benelux offices are the strongest signals.
Facts: Dublin (Sandyford), with offices in Utrecht, Reading, Luxembourg and Brussels · English.
My take: the specialist I would pick for an organisation built on Microsoft 365 and Intune that wants endpoint and identity security managed for it. Best for: Microsoft 365 and Intune-heavy organisations in Ireland, the UK and Benelux that need managed endpoint and identity security. Not for: buyers who want full-scope IT outsourcing.

Quality, specialisation and what IT outsourcing companies in Ireland charge
None of the IT outsourcing companies in Ireland in this ranking publishes rates: managed services are usually quoted per user or per device each month, and projects by day rate or fixed price, after a scoping call. Prices are in euros (EUR). As a general observation, Irish IT rates are closer to UK levels than to Central European ones.
The main choice is between broad managed-service providers (Version 1 for enterprise scale, Auxilion for consulting plus service desk, Datapac for nationwide on-site support) and security specialists (Integrity360 for multi-country SOC work, Smarttech247 for MDR and penetration testing, CWSI for Microsoft endpoint and identity security).
How to choose an IT outsourcing company in Ireland
Choosing an IT outsourcing company in Ireland starts with the scope you want to hand over:
- Whole IT estate or one area – for applications, cloud and the service desk, start with Version 1, Auxilion or Datapac; for a SOC or penetration testing, start with Integrity360 or Smarttech247.
- Where the work is done – Version 1 has delivery centres in Spain and India, and Smarttech247 has teams in Kraków and Bucharest. Ask which country your team sits in and how data is handled under the GDPR.
- NIS2 – many Irish providers now sell NIS2 compliance work. Ask what the provider will be contractually responsible for and what stays with you.
- Who owns the company – private-equity ownership is common among the larger Irish IT firms. It is not a problem in itself, but ask how a future sale would affect your contract.
Also check the paperwork when you hire an IT outsourcing company in Ireland. Look up the CRO number in the CRO’s free company search (CORE, at cro.ie), where you can see the legal form, status, registered office and filed documents, and check the VAT number (IE followed by digits and one or two letters) in the EU’s VIES database. If your business is in another EU country and gives its own VAT number, the reverse charge usually applies and the invoice carries no Irish VAT; for a business outside the EU, Irish VAT is in most cases not charged on these services. Confirm with your adviser – this is not legal or tax advice. Ireland runs on Irish time, the same as the UK – one hour behind Central European Time – which gives a full overlap with London and a good overlap with the US East Coast. If budget matters more than time zone, see the same list for Poland, where rates are usually lower; for Britain, see IT outsourcing companies in the UK.
IT outsourcing companies in Ireland: FAQ
The questions foreign companies ask most before hiring IT outsourcing companies in Ireland.
Do IT outsourcing companies in Ireland work in English?
Yes, IT outsourcing companies in Ireland work in English as their main business language. Integrity360, CWSI and Smarttech247 also have offices in other European countries, so ask if you need support in another language.
Are all the IT outsourcing companies in Ireland in this list Irish-owned?
No, not all the IT outsourcing companies in Ireland in this list are Irish-owned. Version 1 is majority-owned by the Swiss firm Partners Group and Integrity360 by the UK firm August Equity, and Smarttech247’s listed parent is registered in England and Wales, although its Irish founder holds about 70%. All six are Irish-founded and headquartered in Ireland.
How much do IT outsourcing companies in Ireland charge?
IT outsourcing companies in Ireland charge per user, per device or by day rate, and none of the six in this ranking publishes prices. Ask for a written quote in euros that separates set-up, monthly service fees and out-of-scope work.
Will an IT outsourcing company in Ireland charge me Irish VAT?
No, in most cases an IT outsourcing company in Ireland does not charge Irish VAT to a VAT-registered business in another EU country, because the reverse charge applies, and it usually does not charge Irish VAT to a business outside the EU either. Check with your adviser – this is not tax advice.
My verdict: which IT outsourcing company in Ireland to hire
Choosing among IT outsourcing companies in Ireland depends on scope. For enterprise applications and managed services at scale, hire Version 1. For consulting, cloud and service desk from one Irish partner, hire Auxilion. For on-site IT support anywhere in Ireland, hire Datapac. For a 24/7 SOC across Europe, hire Integrity360; for MDR and penetration testing, Smarttech247; for Microsoft endpoint and identity security, CWSI.
Whichever IT outsourcing company in Ireland you choose, agree the service levels, where your data is processed and the exit terms in writing before you sign.
