Belgium is an easy country to outsource IT to from abroad: it sits inside the EU and the eurozone, its IT teams are used to working in several languages, and it has large homegrown IT groups that run infrastructure and applications for companies across Europe. This ranking is written for a company from the US, the UK, another EU country or the Nordics that wants to hand software, infrastructure or business applications to one of the IT outsourcing companies in Belgium. I kept 10 companies, all registered and headquartered in Belgium, looked up each one’s enterprise number (KBO/BCE) and, for eight of them, read the annual accounts filed with the National Bank of Belgium (NBB).
IT outsourcing companies in Belgium at a glance
If you only have a minute, these are the IT outsourcing companies in Belgium I would shortlist as a foreign company, in the order I would contact them. Each is reviewed below, with its registry data and filed accounts on its company profile.
- Cegeka – Family-owned Belgian IT group for outsourcing, managed services and team extension.
- Delaware – Partner-owned Belgian SAP and Microsoft business-application integrator.
- KEYES (formerly NRB) – Wallonia’s largest IT services group – data centres, mainframe, cloud and staffing.
- Easi – Employee-owned Belgian IT services firm – ERP, cloud, data and custom software.
- AE – Leuven consultancy for digital strategy, architecture, software and data.
- Cronos Group – Federation of 550+ Belgian IT companies under one entrepreneurial group.
- ACA Group – Hasselt software and agile consultancy with Belgian and Dutch offices.
- Codit – Azure integration and cloud-native specialist, part of Proximus NXT.
- Xylos – Belgian family-owned Microsoft cloud, workplace and adoption specialist.
- VanRoey (Dynamate) – Managed IT, SOC and Microsoft cloud for Belgian SMEs.
How I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in Belgium
I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in Belgium by quality and track record first, fit for a foreign client second and price third:
- Scope – full managed services (Cegeka, KEYES), business applications such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics (Delaware, Easi), architecture and custom software (AE, ACA Group), a network of specialists (Cronos Group) or a Microsoft niche (Codit, Xylos, VanRoey).
- Language – Belgium is split by language, so I note where each company works: Cegeka, Delaware, AE, ACA Group, Codit, Xylos and VanRoey are Flemish and Dutch-first, while Easi (Nivelles) and KEYES (Herstal) are Walloon and French-first. All list English.
- Track record and accounts – years on the market, named clients and the turnover each company files with the NBB. The figures are for the Belgian entity I could identify, not always the whole group.
- Reviews – none of the ten has a Clutch or Google review sample I could use, so for each company I say which other signal I relied on.
- Ownership – I disclose what I found: Cegeka is family-owned, Delaware is owned by its partners, Easi is employee-owned with Apheon as an investment partner, KEYES is an Ethias company and Codit belongs to Proximus NXT.
- Registration – for seven companies I read the record in the public KBO search; for Cronos, ACA Group and Codit I relied on companyweb.be and, for Codit, its privacy policy.
I left out the Belgian offices of foreign IT groups, such as Inetum-Realdolmen, Ordina, NTT Data and Sopra Steria, even where they employ many people in Belgium.
The 10 best IT outsourcing companies in Belgium, reviewed
Every IT outsourcing company in Belgium below gets the same treatment: who they are, what the signals say, the facts that matter when you hire, and my opinion on who should – and should not – work with them.
1. Cegeka
Family-owned Belgian IT group for outsourcing, managed services and team extension
Cegeka was founded in 1992 in Hasselt, split off from VCST Computer Services, and grew into a family business under André Knaepen; it is still family-owned. It offers outsourcing and managed services, IT team extension, consultancy and projects across hybrid cloud, data and AI, cyber security, Microsoft business applications and quality engineering. Its site cites 9,000–10,000+ employees, more than 2,500 clients and operations on three continents, and in 2023 it bought the US-listed CTG. The accounts on its profile are those of Cegeka Groep NV alone (403 FTE in 2025), not the group; group revenue is reported at around EUR 1.3bn, but the sources I saw conflict.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Its scale, three decades of managed services and named clients such as Terumo Europe, Q-Park and Bridgestone are the strongest signals.
Facts: founded 1992 · Hasselt · 9,000–10,000 people · English, Dutch, French.
My take: my first call if you want one Belgian-headquartered partner to run infrastructure and applications for years, with nearshore capacity in Romania and other Cegeka countries. Best for: mid-size and large companies that want long-term managed services and nearshore delivery from one Belgian-headquartered partner. Not for: small one-off projects or start-ups looking for a boutique team.

2. Delaware
Partner-owned Belgian SAP and Microsoft business-application integrator
Delaware is a Belgian consultancy that implements and runs SAP, Microsoft and other business applications for international manufacturers, with offices in several countries. It is owned by its partners: the cooperative’s board lists more than 100 partner management companies. The Belgian operating cooperative, Delaware Consulting CV, was set up in December 2002, has its registered seat in Kortrijk and a large office in Wilrijk (Antwerp), and posted EUR 307.6m turnover with 1,478 FTE in 2025.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Partner ownership and more than EUR 300m of turnover in the Belgian entity alone are the signals.
Facts: Kortrijk · about 1,480 people · English, Dutch, French.
My take: the partner I would brief for an SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft Dynamics roll-out that has to be run as application management afterwards. Best for: international companies rolling out and then running SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft Dynamics. Not for: pure infrastructure outsourcing or small custom-software builds.

3. KEYES (formerly NRB)
Wallonia’s largest IT services group – data centres, mainframe, cloud and staffing
Network Research Belgium (NRB), now trading as KEYES, is an IT services group headquartered in Herstal near Liège; nrb.be redirects to keyes.eu. It describes itself as “an Ethias company”: it is owned by the Belgian insurer Ethias and other Walloon shareholders, though I did not check the exact shareholding. It runs data-centre campuses in Herstal, Alleur and Wierde and offers infrastructure and cloud, cybersecurity, mainframe, business software, data and AI and IT staffing. The group cites 3,700 employees; the NRB entity alone reported EUR 356.7m turnover and 915 FTE in 2025.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Its own Belgian data centres and the largest single-entity turnover in this ranking are the signals.
Facts: founded 1986 · Herstal (Liège) · 3,700 people · English, French, Dutch.
My take: the provider I would ask first for hosting, mainframe or Belgian-hosted cloud, especially if your team works in French. Best for: hosting, mainframe and Belgian-hosted cloud, and public-sector or insurance outsourcing in French. Not for: small companies that need a lightweight agency.

4. Easi
Employee-owned Belgian IT services firm – ERP, cloud, data and custom software
Easi is an IT company headquartered in Nivelles, in French-speaking Walloon Brabant, with about ten offices and more than 600 staff. It is employee-owned – around 30% of its staff are shareholders – and the Benelux private equity firm Apheon has joined as an investment partner; the size of Apheon’s stake is not disclosed. It delivers business applications (ERP and CRM), cloud and infrastructure, data and custom software. Turnover grew from EUR 65m in 2022 to EUR 123.4m in 2025, with 479 FTE in the Belgian entity.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Fast, profitable growth in its filed accounts and staff ownership are the signals.
Facts: founded 1999 · Nivelles · 600+ people · English, French, Dutch.
My take: the integrator I would pick for a mid-market ERP or cloud project that needs a team equally at home in French and Dutch. Best for: mid-market companies in Belgium and Luxembourg that want a bilingual (French and Dutch) integrator with long-term support. Not for: buyers looking for offshore pricing.

5. AE
Leuven consultancy for digital strategy, architecture, software and data
AE is an IT consultancy headquartered in the Haasrode research park in Leuven with more than 450 people. It combines business and IT architecture, custom software development, data and AI and integration, so advice and build come from the same team. 2025 turnover was EUR 64.8m with 336 FTE. Its board is made up of management companies represented by its partners; I did not check its ownership beyond that.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Steady growth in its filed accounts and a partner-led board are the signals.
Facts: founded 1999 · Leuven · more than 450 people · English, Dutch, French.
My take: my pick for a complex transformation where architecture and delivery have to come from one Flemish team. Best for: complex transformation and architecture work where advisory and build come from one team. Not for: commodity staffing at the lowest day rate.

6. Cronos Group
Federation of 550+ Belgian IT companies under one entrepreneurial group
The Cronos Group, founded in 1991 and based in Kontich near Antwerp, holds stakes in more than 550 companies and launches about 20 new ones a year. Its companies cover software development, data, cloud, security, SAP, Microsoft and IT staffing, and the group cites more than 9,000 people and about EUR 1.3bn consolidated revenue. For a foreign buyer it is a network of specialist firms rather than one supplier: you usually contract with the individual company. The parent, Cronos NV, is a small entity with about 19 FTE, so I show no entity accounts.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. The breadth of more than 550 specialist companies is the signal.
Facts: founded 1991 · Kontich (Antwerp) · 9,000+ people · English, Dutch, French.
My take: worth a call if you need a niche Belgian specialist or capacity across many technologies, and are happy to contract with one of its companies. Best for: buyers who want a niche Belgian specialist or capacity across many technologies through one group contact. Not for: buyers who want one uniform delivery organisation and contract.

7. ACA Group
Hasselt software and agile consultancy with Belgian and Dutch offices
ACA Group, whose legal name is ACA IT-Solutions, is a Hasselt IT company that builds custom software, cloud and data solutions with agile teams. It also has offices in the Netherlands – Eindhoven and Geleen, according to a partner directory. Its website blocked my reader, so I could not confirm its founding year, ownership or full service list; ask on the first call. The Belgian NV posted EUR 38.3m turnover with 151 FTE in 2025.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Its filed accounts and a Belgian-Dutch footprint are the signals.
Facts: Hasselt · about 150 people · English, Dutch, French.
My take: a solid choice for a custom software product that needs an agile team in Flanders or the southern Netherlands. Best for: custom software and agile delivery for mid-size companies in Belgium and the Netherlands. Not for: large infrastructure outsourcing.

8. Codit
Azure integration and cloud-native specialist, part of Proximus NXT
Codit is a Ghent specialist in Microsoft Azure integration and cloud-native development, with contact numbers for Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Malta, Portugal and the UK. It calls itself “a Proximus NXT company”, so it belongs to the Belgian Proximus telecom group, in which the Belgian state holds the majority. Its site gives both 160 and more than 200 staff. The enterprise number on its privacy policy belongs to Codit Holding BV, a holding company, so I show no accounts.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Its narrow Azure focus and the backing of Proximus are the signals.
Facts: Ghent · 160–200 people · English, Dutch, French.
My take: the specialist I would hire to connect SAP or legacy systems to Azure through APIs and events. Best for: Azure integration, API and event-driven architecture projects. Not for: non-Microsoft cloud or general outsourcing.
Visit codit.eu →Company profile & reviews →
9. Xylos
Belgian family-owned Microsoft cloud, workplace and adoption specialist
Xylos is an Antwerp IT company that calls itself a Belgian family business with about forty years of history; members of the Leysen family sit on its board and in its daily management. It focuses on Microsoft cloud and modern-workplace services, but I could not confirm its full current service list, so ask for it. The current NV dates from 2005 and reported EUR 33.6m turnover, a small loss and 126 FTE in 2025.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Family ownership and a long Microsoft track record are the signals.
Facts: Antwerp · about 125 people · English, Dutch, French.
My take: a fit if your Belgian offices need a Microsoft 365 or Azure roll-out with real attention to user adoption. Best for: Microsoft 365 and Azure roll-outs for Belgian organisations. Not for: non-Microsoft stacks or offshore development.
Visit xylos.com →Company profile, reviews & financials →
10. VanRoey (Dynamate)
Managed IT, SOC and Microsoft cloud for Belgian SMEs
VanRoey is a managed IT and cybersecurity provider from Turnhout with a 24/7 security operations centre (SOC), infrastructure, Azure and Microsoft 365 and Dynamics services. It has announced a merger with Dynamate into one IT group under the Dynamate name, and its board was replaced in June 2026, consistent with that deal. I did not check who owns Dynamate, so ask before you sign a long contract. Van Roey Automation NV reported EUR 54.2m turnover and 119 FTE in 2025.
What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. A 24/7 SOC run from Belgium is the signal.
Facts: founded 1996 · Turnhout · 200+ people · English, Dutch.
My take: the provider I would brief for managed IT and security at a Flemish site, as long as the merger terms are clear. Best for: managed IT and security for SMEs and mid-market firms with sites in Flanders. Not for: custom software development at scale or French-language service.
Visit vanroey.be →Company profile, reviews & financials →
Quality, specialisation and what IT outsourcing companies in Belgium charge
None of the IT outsourcing companies in Belgium in this ranking publishes hourly or day rates; work is quoted after a briefing, as a fixed price, on time and materials or as a managed-service fee, almost always in euros (EUR). As a general observation, Belgian IT rates are usually in line with the Netherlands and France and well above Poland; Cegeka can lower the blended price with nearshore teams, so ask how the team will be split and where each person sits.
The main choice is between large managed-service providers (Cegeka, KEYES), business-application integrators (Delaware, Easi), architecture and software consultancies (AE, ACA Group), a federation of specialists (Cronos Group) and Microsoft specialists for integration, workplace and security (Codit, Xylos, VanRoey). Size differs a lot: Delaware’s Belgian entity alone has about 1,480 FTE, while Xylos and VanRoey each report fewer than 130 FTE in their accounts.
How to choose an IT outsourcing company in Belgium
Choosing an IT outsourcing company in Belgium starts with what you want to hand over – applications, infrastructure or both – and where in Belgium your users are:
- Language region – Flanders works in Dutch, Wallonia in French and Brussels is officially bilingual; there is also a small German-speaking community in the east. English is common in Belgian IT teams, but support desks and documentation for local users usually need Dutch or French. Pick Easi or KEYES for French-first service and a Flemish firm for Dutch; VanRoey lists only Dutch and English.
- Scale – for a multi-year outsourcing contract, Cegeka, KEYES and Delaware have the bench; for a focused project, AE, ACA Group or Codit.
- Ownership changes – VanRoey is merging into Dynamate and Easi has a private equity partner; ask who will own your supplier over the life of the contract.
- Data – all ten are inside the EU, so the GDPR applies to them directly. If part of the team sits outside the EU, agree where data is hosted and who may access it. This is not legal advice.
- Exit – agree code and IP ownership, documentation and a hand-over plan before the contract starts.
Also check the paperwork when you hire an IT outsourcing company in Belgium. Look up the ten-digit enterprise number in the free public KBO/BCE search (kbopub.economie.fgov.be), which shows status, seat and directors; download the annual accounts free from the NBB’s Central Balance Sheet Office; and check the VAT number (BE plus the enterprise number) in the EU’s VIES database. On VAT, in most cases a service to a VAT-registered business in another EU country is invoiced without Belgian VAT under the reverse charge, and a service to a business outside the EU is generally not subject to Belgian VAT; confirm with your adviser – this is not tax advice. Belgium is on Central European Time (CET). For comparison, here is the same list for Poland, where rates are lower.
IT outsourcing companies in Belgium: FAQ
The questions foreign companies ask most before hiring IT outsourcing companies in Belgium.
Do IT outsourcing companies in Belgium work in English?
Yes, all the IT outsourcing companies in Belgium in this ranking list English alongside Dutch, French or both. Ask for an English contract and an English-speaking service manager, and check which language the support desk uses if your own users are in Belgium.
Do IT outsourcing companies in Belgium charge VAT to foreign clients?
No, in most cases IT outsourcing companies in Belgium do not add Belgian VAT when they invoice a VAT-registered business in another EU country, because the reverse charge applies, and services to businesses outside the EU are generally outside Belgian VAT. Give the provider your VAT number and check its BE number in VIES. This is not tax advice.
How much do IT outsourcing companies in Belgium charge?
IT outsourcing companies in Belgium charge in euros and quote per project, per day or as a monthly managed-service fee; none of the ten in this ranking publishes rates. Ask for a fixed-price discovery phase, a rate card per role and, with Cegeka, the share of nearshore work.
Which IT outsourcing company in Belgium is best for long-term managed services?
The best IT outsourcing company in Belgium for long-term managed services is, in my view, Cegeka for Dutch-speaking or international teams and KEYES for French-speaking ones and Belgian-hosted infrastructure. Both have run outsourcing contracts for decades and file large accounts with the NBB.
My verdict: which IT outsourcing company in Belgium to hire
Choosing among IT outsourcing companies in Belgium depends on what you hand over and in which language. For long-term managed services with nearshore capacity, hire Cegeka. For SAP or Microsoft Dynamics, hire Delaware. For hosting, mainframe or Belgian-hosted cloud in French, hire KEYES. For a bilingual mid-market integrator, hire Easi. For architecture and custom software from one team, hire AE. For Azure integration, hire Codit.
Whichever IT outsourcing company in Belgium you choose, check its enterprise number in the KBO, read its latest accounts at the NBB and write the team split, data location and hand-over terms into the contract before work starts.
