Best IT Outsourcing Companies in the Czech Republic (2026): 8 Companies Reviewed

The Czech Republic has one of the deepest IT services markets in Central Europe, with large Czech-owned groups, enterprise-systems houses and nearshore engineering teams in Prague, Brno and Ostrava. This ranking is written for a company from the US, the UK, another EU country or the Nordics that wants to hand software development, IT operations or a whole platform to one of the IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic. I kept 8 companies, all registered and headquartered in the Czech Republic, and looked up each one’s IČO (company number) in ARES, the public register data of the Czech state.

IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic at a glance

If you only have a minute, these are the IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic I would shortlist as a foreign company, in the order I would contact them. Each is reviewed below, with its registry data on its company profile.

  1. ARICOMA – Czech ICT group of the KKCG investment group for infrastructure, enterprise applications, security and managed services.
  2. Unicorn – Prague enterprise-systems house running mission-critical systems for energy grids, banks and retailers.
  3. Trask – Prague IT services group for banks, insurers, automotive and telecoms: integration, data, AI and managed services.
  4. OKsystem – Family-owned Prague software house for custom systems, integration, HR and payroll products and system operation.
  5. ALEF – Prague IT infrastructure, cyber-security and managed-services group active in 17 countries.
  6. Seyfor – Brno business-software and IT services group: ERP, payroll, cloud and cyber security in seven countries.
  7. ARTIN – Brno custom-software and IT staff-augmentation company with offices in Prague and Bratislava.
  8. Moravio – Ostrava and Prague software house for custom software, AI and dedicated nearshore teams.

How I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic

I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic by quality first, fit for a foreign client second and price third:

  • Specialisation – large infrastructure and application outsourcing (ARICOMA), mission-critical systems (Unicorn), integration and managed services for finance (Trask), long-term custom systems (OKsystem), networks and security operations (ALEF), ERP plus managed IT (Seyfor) and dedicated engineering teams (ARTIN, Moravio).
  • Scale – I quote headcounts and revenue only as the companies state them and say so; I did not read filed accounts for this ranking, so no profile shows financial figures.
  • Reviews – only ARTIN and Moravio have Clutch review samples I could use; for the others I name the strongest other signal, usually named clients and track record.
  • Ownership – I disclose what I could find: KKCG behind ARICOMA, three Czech beneficial owners behind ALEF, family ownership at OKsystem (its own statement) and the Czech owners of ARTIN and Moravio. For Trask, Unicorn and Seyfor the shareholders are not shown in ARES.
  • Registration – every company is registered and headquartered in the Czech Republic.

I left out Czech offices of foreign IT groups and Czech firms now controlled from abroad – for example Profinit, which belongs to Amdocs.

The 8 best IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic, reviewed

Every IT outsourcing company in the Czech Republic below gets the same treatment: who they are, what clients say, the facts that matter when you hire, and my opinion on who should – and should not – work with them.

1. ARICOMA

Czech ICT group of the KKCG investment group for infrastructure, enterprise applications, security and managed services

ARICOMA is the ICT holding of the Czech investment group KKCG, built from companies such as AUTOCONT and Cleverlance. It covers enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, cyber security, AI, professional services and pan-European services, including work for EU institutions in Brussels, and it names expansion into the DACH region and Benelux. Its website shows figures of 6,000+ and EUR 500 million without saying exactly what they measure, so I treat them as approximate group numbers. The registry data on its profile is for the operating company Aricoma Systems a.s. in Ostrava; I could not read the group’s shareholder chain up to KKCG in ARES.

What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Named clients such as the ČSOB Group, the European Commission, COOP, Breitling and Head, plus the backing of KKCG, are the strongest signals.

Facts: Ostrava · Czech, English, Slovak.

My take: my first call if a large company or public body wants one Czech partner for infrastructure, applications and operations at scale. Best for: large enterprises and public bodies that need a full-scale Czech IT outsourcing and infrastructure partner. Not for: small companies or single-app projects.

2. Unicorn

Prague enterprise-systems house running mission-critical systems for energy grids, banks and retailers

Unicorn has built custom information systems for more than 30 years and has about 2,100 specialists by its own account. It is best known for systems used by European electricity transmission operators and bodies such as ENTSO-E, JAO, Coreso, EirGrid and ČEPS, and it also works for banks and retailers; its Unicorn Universe platform is used to model whole organisations. The contracting company named on its website is Unicorn Systems a.s. in Prague 3, a member of the Unicorn group whose parent is Unicorn a.s.; the shareholders of Unicorn Systems are not shown in ARES. Unicorn also runs Unicorn University in Prague.

What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Its long record with European grid operators and clients such as Komerční banka, ČSOB, Tesco, ŠKODA and ČEZ is the strongest signal.

Facts: Prague · 2,100+ people · Czech, English, Slovak.

My take: the partner I would pick for a long-term, mission-critical system in energy, banking or retail. Best for: energy, banking and retail groups that need long-term development and operation of mission-critical systems. Not for: small fixed-price projects.

3. Trask

Prague IT services group for banks, insurers, automotive and telecoms: integration, data, AI and managed services

Trask is a Prague IT services group whose operating company, TRASK SOLUTIONS a.s., has been registered since 1994. It has more than 1,100 technology experts by its own account and works across Europe and North America in financial services, insurance, automotive, manufacturing, energy and telecoms. Services include application integration, data and analytics, AI, automation, cyber security, cloud and managed services, with group brands such as Bell & Hurry, Meonzi, Team8, Sineta and Trask Telco. Its legal page names the parent TRASK HOLDING a.s.; the holding’s shareholders are not shown in ARES, so I cannot say who owns the group.

What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Named banking and industry clients – Erste Group, Slovenská sporiteľňa, ČSOB, UniCredit, Raiffeisenbank, Škoda Auto and T-Mobile – are the strongest signal.

Facts: founded 1994 · Prague · 1,100+ people · Czech, English, Slovak.

My take: a strong choice for a bank or insurer that wants a large Czech partner for integration, data and managed services. Best for: banks and insurers that want a large Czech integration and managed-services partner. Not for: start-ups and small budgets.

4. OKsystem

Family-owned Prague software house for custom systems, integration, HR and payroll products and system operation

OKsystem describes itself as a Czech family company that has built software for more than 36 years; the current company, OKsystem a.s., has been registered since 2005. It has 550+ employees in Prague, Brno and Ostrava by its own account, plus OKsystem Inc. in New York. It delivers custom development, mobile apps, integration platforms and e-commerce for private companies and public administration, sells its own products (OKbase HR, OKmzdy payroll and Checkbot) and offers payroll outsourcing and system operation. It holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 certification and a Czech security clearance for classified information up to Confidential. The shareholders are not named in ARES, so the family ownership is the company’s own statement.

What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. More than three decades in business, its certifications and clients such as Allianz pojišťovna, BNP Paribas, Billa, MOL, GE Aviation and Roche are the signals.

Facts: Prague · 550+ people · Czech, English.

My take: the steady, owner-run partner I would choose for a custom system that has to be built and then run for many years. Best for: companies and public bodies that want a stable Czech partner for long-term custom systems and their operation. Not for: start-ups that need a quick MVP studio.

5. ALEF

Prague IT infrastructure, cyber-security and managed-services group active in 17 countries

ALEF was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Prague 8 (Karlín). The group reports 550+ employees, operations in 17 countries and net sales of more than EUR 440 million – these are group figures from its website, not filed accounts. It provides professional and managed services for networks, data centres, cloud, collaboration and cyber security, including hardware and software maintenance, system administration and proactive monitoring, and it runs the ALEF Training Centre. Its key vendors are Cisco, NetApp, F5, Microsoft, AWS and Splunk. A 2023 filing in the Slovak public-sector partner register (RPVS) shows ALEF NULA, a.s. as 100% owned by DIBITI INVESTMENT FUND SICAV, a.s., with three Czech nationals – David Kunz, Alexander Brányik and Pavel Rosendorf – as beneficial owners.

What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Three decades of vendor partnerships and clients such as Dr.Max, Home Credit, Sconto and Max banka are the strongest signals.

Facts: founded 1994 · Prague · 550+ people · Czech, English.

My take: the provider I would ask to run networks, security and data-centre operations across several Central European countries. Best for: enterprises that want outsourced network, security and data-centre operations across Central and Eastern Europe. Not for: custom application development.

6. Seyfor

Brno business-software and IT services group: ERP, payroll, cloud and cyber security in seven countries

Seyfor, formerly Solitea, is a Brno-headquartered group with more than 2,000 employees in seven European countries and customers in 42 countries, by its own account. It supplies ERP, accounting, point-of-sale, HR and payroll software, plus cloud, IT infrastructure, cyber security, data analytics and AI services. Its website reports group revenue of CZK 5.533 billion for 2025; that is the company’s own figure, not one I read in filed accounts. The parent company has been called Seyfor, a. s. since December 2022. ARES showed me neither its current board nor its shareholders, so I cannot tell you who owns it. Seyfor is mainly a software and ERP house, so it fits best if you want your business systems and their IT operations from one supplier.

What clients say. No usable Clutch or Google review sample was checked for this ranking, so I give no rating. Its size and its own product portfolio are the strongest signals.

Facts: Brno · 2,000+ people · Czech, Slovak, English, Hungarian, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian.

My take: a sensible pick if you want ERP and payroll software plus managed IT from one Czech provider. Best for: mid-size companies that want ERP plus managed IT from one Czech provider. Not for: custom product development for start-ups.

7. ARTIN

Brno custom-software and IT staff-augmentation company with offices in Prague and Bratislava

ARTIN, spol. s r.o. has been registered in Brno since 1998 and has offices in Prague and Bratislava. Clutch lists 250–999 staff working on custom software, AI development, modernisation of enterprise applications, cloud and IT staff augmentation – the model that makes it relevant here: it can supply a dedicated engineering team that works on your product. German is among its working languages. ARTIN is 100% owned by ARTIN Group s.r.o., a Czech company, according to ARES.

What clients say. Clutch: 4.9/5 from 8 reviews. Reviewers praise its deadlines, communication and quality; cost is the lowest sub-score at 4.6. Clients include Stadler Rail, Y Soft, Kentico and Ataccama.

Facts: founded 1998 · Brno · 250–999 people · $50–99/h · minimum project $10,000 · English, German, Czech, Slovak.

My take: the one I would pick for a scalable engineering team at mid-market rates that can also work in German. Best for: product companies and manufacturers that need a scalable Czech engineering team, including German speakers. Not for: small marketing websites.

8. Moravio

Ostrava and Prague software house for custom software, AI and dedicated nearshore teams

Moravio s.r.o. has built custom software since 2011; its registered seat is in Ostrava and it has an office in Prague-Karlín, plus a Barcelona office and a presence in the US and the UK. Services include custom and AI development, IT staff augmentation and IT strategy consulting, and its website quotes team packages from $9,900 a month. Clients include Nokia Bell Labs and JLL. According to ARES it is owned by Lukáš Greň (85%), Barbora Thornton (10%) and Pavel Janko (5%).

What clients say. Clutch: 4.9/5 from 23 reviews. Reviewers highlight good value, transparency and efficiency on web applications and complex software.

Facts: founded 2011 · Ostrava · 50–249 people · $50–99/h · minimum project $25,000 · English, Czech.

My take: my choice for a small to mid-size dedicated nearshore team with transparent monthly pricing. Best for: companies that want a dedicated nearshore team at mid-market rates. Not for: design-led brand websites.

Quality, specialisation and what IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic charge

Most IT outsourcing companies in the Czech Republic in this ranking do not publish hourly or day rates: large contracts are quoted after a briefing, as a fixed price, on time and materials or as a managed-service fee. The exceptions are the two team builders – Clutch puts both ARTIN and Moravio in the $50–99 an hour band, with minimum projects of $10,000 and $25,000, and Moravio quotes team packages from $9,900 a month. Prices are often quoted in Czech koruna (CZK), but many providers invoice foreign clients in EUR, so ask which currency the contract uses. As a general observation, Czech rates sit below Western European and Nordic levels and above Polish ones.

The main choice is between large groups that take over infrastructure, applications and operations (ARICOMA, Trask, ALEF), enterprise-systems builders (Unicorn, OKsystem), a software and ERP group with managed IT (Seyfor) and dedicated engineering teams (ARTIN, Moravio).

How to choose an IT outsourcing company in the Czech Republic

Choosing an IT outsourcing company in the Czech Republic starts with what you want to hand over – code, a business system or day-to-day operations:

  • Size of the job – ARICOMA, Unicorn, Trask and ALEF are built for long, large contracts; ARTIN and Moravio suit a team of a few to a few dozen engineers.
  • Software or infrastructure – for networks, data centres and security operations go to ALEF or ARICOMA; for systems and code, to the others.
  • Language – English is widely used in Czech IT teams and is the working language on most international projects. ARTIN also works in German. Large public-sector and enterprise contracts are often in Czech, so ask for an English version.
  • Team set-up – if the provider’s engineers will work under your day-to-day direction, the arrangement can look like agency employment, which in the Czech Republic usually requires a permit from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MPSV). Ask how the contract is structured. This is not legal advice.
  • Ownership – where ARES does not show the shareholders, ask who owns the company and what a sale would mean for your contract.
  • Exit – agree code and IP ownership, documentation and a hand-over plan before the contract starts.

Also check the paperwork when you hire an IT outsourcing company in the Czech Republic. Look up the eight-digit IČO for free in ARES (ares.gov.cz) or the commercial register at or.justice.cz, where the Sbírka listin (collection of documents) holds the filed annual accounts – not always up to date. Check the VAT number (DIČ, in most cases CZ plus the IČO) in the EU’s VIES database. On VAT, in most cases a service to a VAT-registered business in another EU country is invoiced without Czech VAT under the reverse charge, and a service to a business outside the EU is generally not subject to Czech VAT; confirm with your adviser – this is not tax advice. The Czech Republic is on Central European Time (CET). For comparison, here is the same list for Poland, where rates are lower.

Which IT outsourcing company in the Czech Republic is best for banks?
