Best IT Outsourcing Companies in France (2026): 8 Companies Reviewed

Outsourcing IT operations to France usually means one of three things: running the infrastructure of a French subsidiary, keeping data in French or EU-sovereign hosting, or meeting French rules such as HDS for health data or SecNumCloud for public-sector work. This ranking is written for a company from the US, the UK, Germany or the Nordics that needs IT outsourcing companies in France for managed services, service desk, private or sovereign cloud and security operations. I am Adrian, an SEO consultant in Wrocław, and I write every ranking on this site myself. I kept 8 companies, all registered and headquartered in France, and checked each one in the official French company register.

IT outsourcing companies in France at a glance

If you only have a minute, these are the IT outsourcing companies in France I would shortlist as a foreign company, in the order I would contact them. Each is reviewed below, with its registry data on its company profile.

  1. Neurones – Listed IT services group whose largest business is infrastructure outsourcing.
  2. Cheops Technology – Managed private cloud, managed services and a cybersecurity SOC, certified ISO 27001 and HDS.
  3. Inherent – National provider of telecoms, sovereign cloud, managed services and a 24/7 SOC (formerly Adista).
  4. Cloud Temple – SecNumCloud-qualified sovereign cloud and managed-services operator.
  5. Groupe Ozitem – Paris-area managed services provider for cloud, HDS hosting and service desk.
  6. Hardis Group – Logistics software publisher, Salesforce integrator and IT services company.
  7. Inetum – Large IT services group (formerly GFI Informatique) with outsourcing across Europe, Latin America and Africa.
  8. OVHcloud – European cloud platform for bare metal, public and private cloud – not a classic outsourcer.

How I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in France

I ranked the IT outsourcing companies in France by quality first, fit for a foreign client second and price third:

  • Scope of the run – a clear managed services offer (infrastructure operations, service desk, cloud, SOC) beats a general IT services catalogue.
  • Certifications – ISO 27001, ISO 20000, HDS and SecNumCloud, which I report as the companies state them.
  • Track record – named clients, years on the market and size.
  • Reviews – none of these companies has a Clutch profile I could find, so for each one I name the strongest other signal.
  • Registration and accounts – every company is registered with the RCS and INSEE and headquartered in France. I checked each one on annuaire-entreprises.data.gouv.fr and show its latest published accounts where they are recent and public.

I left out French businesses now owned from abroad and companies headquartered outside France – Coreye (now part of the UK’s Claranet), Linkbynet (Accenture) and Econocom, whose headquarters are in Belgium. OVHcloud is included as a cloud platform rather than an outsourcer, and Hardis Group as an IT services company whose run offer I could not confirm; I say so in their reviews. Team sizes below are the companies’ own figures where they publish one, otherwise the INSEE headcount band of the registered company.

The 8 best IT outsourcing companies in France, reviewed

Every IT outsourcing company in France below gets the same treatment: who they are, what clients say, the facts that matter when you hire, and my opinion on who should – and should not – work with them.

1. Neurones

Listed IT services group whose largest business is infrastructure outsourcing

Neurones is a listed IT services group from Nanterre, founded in 1985 (ticker NRO), that ranks itself among the ten largest IT services firms in France. Its largest segment, with about 5,200 of its roughly 7,500 staff, is infrastructure services – operating, securing and developing clients’ IT infrastructure, which in France is called infogérance – alongside application services (about 1,500) and consulting (300+). The registry shows €810.4m in revenue for 2025 for NEURONES SA, which is probably the group total; the infrastructure business itself sits in the subsidiary Neurones IT.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews. Its size, its stock-market listing and the scale of its infrastructure business are the strongest signals.

Facts: founded 1985 · Nanterre (Paris) · about 7,500 people · French, English.

My take: my first call for a large outsourcing contract – service desk, infrastructure operations and cloud run – delivered in France. Best for: large organisations outsourcing service desk, infrastructure operations and cloud run in France. Not for: SMEs that want a small provider with one contact person.

2. Cheops Technology

Managed private cloud, managed services and a cybersecurity SOC, certified ISO 27001 and HDS

Cheops Technology is an IT infrastructure provider from Canéjan near Bordeaux, founded in 1998. It runs a managed private cloud operated in France (iCod), hybrid and public cloud, IT as a service and managed services, a cybersecurity SOC (CyberPatriot) and modernisation services, in France and Switzerland. It is certified ISO 27001, ISO 20000, HDS (French health-data hosting) and ISAE 3402 Type 2, and reported €164.2m in revenue for 2024.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews. Clients such as Amer Sports (Salomon), CEVA Santé Animale and CCI Ille-et-Vilaine and its certifications are the strongest signals.

Facts: founded 1998 · Canéjan (Bordeaux) · 500–999 people · French, English.

My take: the pick for a mid-sized or regulated company that wants French-hosted private cloud, day-to-day run and a SOC from one provider. Best for: mid-market and regulated companies that want French-hosted private cloud, run and SOC from one provider. Not for: buyers outside France and Switzerland who need follow-the-sun coverage.

3. Inherent

National provider of telecoms, sovereign cloud, managed services and a 24/7 SOC (formerly Adista)

Inherent is the group formed from adista, unyc, devensys cybersecurity and upper-link, and now trades under the inherent name; I could not find when the rebrand took place. It combines telecoms (fibre, SD-WAN, unified communications), private, public and sovereign cloud and hosting in France, managed Kubernetes and GitLab, a 24/7 SOC and Microsoft 365 and Azure managed services from more than 45 sites across France. It claims about 1,600 staff, more than €400m in revenue and more than 60,000 clients. The registered company is still ADISTA SAS, registered in 1981 in the Nancy area, which reported €204.3m in revenue and a net loss for 2025; its président is the company Inherent, and I could not identify the shareholders above it.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews. Clients such as Krys Group, Lagardère, Groupe Cina and ASP and its national footprint are the strongest signals.

Facts: founded 1981 · Maxéville (Nancy) · about 1,600 people · French, English.

My take: a good fit for a multi-site company that wants its network, cloud and security run by one provider across France. Best for: multi-site companies in France that want network, cloud and security from one national provider. Not for: buyers who need operations outside France.

4. Cloud Temple

SecNumCloud-qualified sovereign cloud and managed-services operator

Cloud Temple is a sovereign cloud and managed-services operator from Puteaux, by La Défense. It is qualified SecNumCloud by ANSSI, the French cybersecurity agency, and also holds the PAMS qualification, HDS and ISO 27001. It offers IaaS and bare metal, managed OpenShift and Kubernetes, backup, managed firewalls, a sovereign SOC, LLM as a service on NVIDIA GPUs and managed databases across three French availability zones. The current company was registered in 2017, but the site cites client relationships from 2015, so I left the founding year open. It reported €52.1m in revenue for 2024.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews. Clients such as Groupe Avril, IRD and Groupe Apave and its SecNumCloud qualification are the strongest signals.

Facts: Puteaux (Paris La Défense) · 100–199 people · French, English.

My take: the one to call when a workload has to sit in a SecNumCloud-qualified French cloud, for example to serve French public-sector clients. Best for: regulated workloads that must run in a SecNumCloud-qualified French cloud. Not for: cost-driven commodity hosting.

5. Groupe Ozitem

Paris-area managed services provider for cloud, HDS hosting and service desk

Groupe Ozitem is a managed services provider from Levallois-Perret, west of Paris. It offers cloud and HDS cloud hosting, managed services, network as a service, a 24/7 operations centre, a service desk (“Ozi Smart Services”) and IT support staff, from two data-centre points of presence. It claims €46m in group revenue; the operating company OZITEM SA, registered in 1988, reported €26.0m for 2024. The team figure is the INSEE band of OZITEM SA.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews. Clients such as PMU, Ramsay, Rothschild, Motul, Lalique, Vidal and Pacifica are the strongest signal.

Facts: Levallois-Perret (Paris) · 200–249 people · French, English.

My take: a good fit for a mid-sized company in the Paris region that wants an outsourced service desk and hosted infrastructure from one provider. Best for: Paris-region mid-market companies that want an outsourced service desk plus hosted infrastructure. Not for: international multi-country operations.

6. Hardis Group

Logistics software publisher, Salesforce integrator and IT services company

Hardis Group is a Grenoble-area group that describes itself as three businesses: a publisher of logistics software (Hardis Supply Chain), a Salesforce integrator (Cloudity) and an IT services company (Hardis Tech Services). I could not confirm a managed services or run offer on its website, so treat it as an IT services partner rather than an infrastructure outsourcer. The holding company, HARDIS GROUPE SAS, reported €153.8m in revenue for 2024.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews, and its website names no clients. Its size and its revenue are the strongest signals.

Facts: Seyssinet-Pariset (Grenoble) · 1,000–1,999 people · French.

My take: worth a call if your outsourcing need is tied to logistics software or Salesforce – ask directly what it runs for clients. Best for: logistics and supply-chain companies that want software and IT services from one French vendor. Not for: buyers who want a pure infrastructure outsourcer.

7. Inetum

Large IT services group (formerly GFI Informatique) with outsourcing across Europe, Latin America and Africa

Inetum, formerly GFI Informatique, is a large IT services group from Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, north of Paris, that provides consulting, applications, software and infrastructure outsourcing and managed services, with operations across Europe, Latin America and Africa. Its président in the registry is Granite France Bidco, an acquisition company; the press has reported that Bain Capital owns the group, which I could not verify. The latest accounts made public in the registry are for 2021. The team figure is the INSEE band of INETUM SAS.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews. Its size and multi-country delivery are the strongest signals.

Facts: Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine (Paris) · 5,000–9,999 people · French, English.

My take: the choice for an enterprise that wants one large outsourcer across several countries with French governance – less so if you prefer an independent mid-sized provider. Best for: enterprises that want a large multi-country outsourcer with French governance. Not for: SMEs and buyers who prefer an independent mid-sized provider.

8. OVHcloud

European cloud platform for bare metal, public and private cloud – not a classic outsourcer

OVHcloud is a cloud provider from Roubaix, founded in 1999, offering bare-metal servers, public and private cloud and hosting. It is a cloud platform rather than an IT outsourcer: it gives you the infrastructure, and the day-to-day running is usually done by your own team or a partner. The operating company, OVH SAS, reported €976.0m in revenue for 2025; the team figure is its INSEE band.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile and no usable reviews. Its scale as a European-owned cloud is the strongest signal.

Facts: founded 1999 · Roubaix · 1,000–1,999 people · French, English.

My take: last here on purpose: it is the right choice for European-owned cloud infrastructure at low cost, but you will still need someone to run it. Best for: buyers who want European-owned cloud infrastructure, run by their own team or a partner. Not for: buyers who want an outsourcer to run their IT.

Quality, specialisation and what IT outsourcing companies in France charge

None of the IT outsourcing companies in France in this ranking publishes prices, and none has a Clutch profile with rates. Managed services are quoted after an audit of your infrastructure, usually as a monthly fee per user, server or service level, and invoices are in euros. Quality and fit come before price: a provider with the right certifications and a real 24/7 team is cheaper than a migration away from the wrong one.

The main choice is between large groups such as Neurones and Inetum, regional and national infrastructure providers such as Cheops Technology and Inherent, the sovereign cloud operator Cloud Temple, the Paris-area provider Groupe Ozitem, Hardis Group for IT services around logistics and Salesforce, and OVHcloud as a cloud platform you run yourself or through a partner.

Three practical points for foreign buyers. Language: many French companies work in English, but French is the default for service desks and smaller teams – Hardis Group presents itself in French – so agree on the language of support tickets and reports before you sign. VAT: a French company selling B2B services to a business in another EU country invoices without French TVA under the reverse charge, and a business outside the EU is not charged French TVA either. Time zone: France is on CET (CEST in summer), the same as Germany and one hour ahead of the UK. If you want to compare costs, here is the same list for Poland, where rates are lower.

How to choose an IT outsourcing company in France

Choosing an IT outsourcing company in France starts with what you need run and where the data must sit:

  • A large outsourcing contract in France – Neurones, or Inetum if you need several countries.
  • French-hosted private cloud plus run and SOC – Cheops Technology.
  • Network, cloud and security across many French sites – Inherent.
  • SecNumCloud or other sovereign requirements – Cloud Temple.
  • Service desk and hosting for a Paris-area company – Groupe Ozitem.
  • IT services tied to logistics software or Salesforce – Hardis Group.
  • Cheap European-owned infrastructure you run yourself – OVHcloud.

Before you sign, look the company up by name or SIREN number on annuaire-entreprises.data.gouv.fr: check that it is active, who its président and directors are, which company controls it and whether its accounts are filed. Many French companies’ turnover is public there, but some file confidential accounts or publish late – Inetum’s latest public figures are for 2021 – which is legal and not a warning sign on its own. Also ask for the service levels in writing, where your data will be hosted, who has administrator access and how you get your systems back if you leave.

IT outsourcing companies in France: FAQ

The questions foreign companies ask most before hiring IT outsourcing companies in France.

Do IT outsourcing companies in France work in English?

Yes, many IT outsourcing companies in France work in English, especially large groups such as Neurones and Inetum. Service desks and smaller teams often default to French, so check the language of support and reporting before you sign.

Do IT outsourcing companies in France charge French VAT to foreign clients?

No, IT outsourcing companies in France do not normally charge French TVA on B2B services to a business elsewhere in the EU, which accounts for VAT at home under the reverse charge, or to a business outside the EU. Give the company your VAT number before the first invoice so it can bill correctly.

Is OVHcloud an IT outsourcing company?

No, OVHcloud is a cloud platform rather than an IT outsourcing company: it provides servers, cloud and hosting, while the day-to-day running is usually done by your own team or a partner. If you want someone to run your IT, start with one of the managed services providers above it.

Which IT outsourcing company in France is best for sovereign cloud?

The best IT outsourcing company in France for sovereign cloud is, in my opinion, Cloud Temple, because it is qualified SecNumCloud by ANSSI and runs three French availability zones. Cheops Technology is the alternative if HDS and a French-operated private cloud are enough.

My verdict: which IT outsourcing company in France to hire

Choosing among IT outsourcing companies in France depends on what you need run. For a large contract in France, hire Neurones. For private cloud with a SOC, hire Cheops Technology. For many French sites, hire Inherent. For SecNumCloud, hire Cloud Temple. For a Paris-area service desk, hire Groupe Ozitem. For IT services around logistics or Salesforce, talk to Hardis Group. For one outsourcer across several countries, hire Inetum. For infrastructure you run yourself, use OVHcloud.

Whichever IT outsourcing company in France you choose, write the exit plan into the contract on day one – getting your systems and data back is the hardest part to negotiate later.
