Best SEO Agencies in Ireland (2026): 6 Agencies Reviewed

Ireland is a small, English-speaking market of about five million people, inside the EU and the euro area, where Google dominates search. This ranking is written for a company from the US, the UK, another EU country or the Nordics that wants to hire one of the SEO agencies in Ireland – to win Irish customers on google.ie, or to run English-language SEO for the UK and Europe from an EU base. I am Adrian, an SEO consultant in Wrocław, and I research and write every ranking on this site myself. I kept 6 agencies, all registered with the Companies Registration Office (CRO), and read each one’s CRO data.

SEO agencies in Ireland at a glance

If you only have a minute, these are the SEO agencies in Ireland I would shortlist as a foreign company, in the order I would contact them. Each is reviewed below, with its CRO data on its company profile.

  1. Wolfgang Digital – Employee-owned Dublin search agency for SEO, paid search and analytics.
  2. Core Optimisation – B Corp growth agency from Shannon for SEO, GEO, paid media and PR.
  3. Vroom Digital – Award-winning small Dublin agency for SEO, digital PR and Google Ads.
  4. Social Gravity – SEO and Google Ads lead generation for home-service and local businesses.
  5. Riordan SEO – Small specialist SEO and GEO consultancy run by its founder.
  6. SEOWizard – Dublin micro-agency for local SEO and WordPress sites on small budgets.

How I ranked the SEO agencies in Ireland

I ranked the SEO agencies in Ireland by quality first, fit for a foreign client second and price third:

  • Track record – named clients, case studies and years on the market. Awards claimed on an agency’s own site are noted as claims.
  • Search depth – technical and content SEO, digital PR and link earning, GEO for AI answers, and whether paid search sits in the same team.
  • Reviews – only Social Gravity and SEOWizard have Clutch ratings, from seven and five reviews. Where there are no usable reviews, I say so and name the strongest other signal.
  • Fit for foreign clients – work for international brands, multi-market experience and clear pricing.
  • Registration and ownership – CRO number, legal form, incorporation date and, where I could read them, directors and the largest shareholder (via solocheck.ie and northdata.com, which republish CRO data). Most small Irish companies file abridged accounts without turnover, so I quote no revenue figures.

The list includes only firms registered and headquartered in Ireland. I left out Irish offices of foreign networks, and a few agencies I could not match to a CRO company were left out as well. Many buyers in Ireland compare prices with British agencies, so see also the same list for the UK; if your budget is tighter, here is the same list for Poland, where rates are usually lower.

The 6 best SEO agencies in Ireland, reviewed

Every SEO agency in Ireland below gets the same treatment: who they are, what clients say, the facts that matter when you hire, and my opinion on who should – and should not – work with them.

1. Wolfgang Digital

Employee-owned Dublin search agency for SEO, paid search and analytics

Wolfgang Digital is a Dublin search and performance marketing agency based at Palmerston House, Denzille Lane, Dublin 2. It offers SEO, paid search, paid social, CRM and marketing automation, and analytics. Its website describes it as Ireland’s first employee-owned trust, on the John Lewis model. At the European Search Awards 2026 it won six awards, including Best Large PPC Agency, according to Adworld.ie. The website speaks of about 19 years of trading, while the current company, Wolfgang Digital Limited (formerly Alan Coleman Multimedia Enterprises), was incorporated in 2010, so I leave the founding year open.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile for it – the similar Clutch address belongs to an unrelated US agency – so there are no usable reviews. The strongest signal is its award record and its client list: Jameson, Brown Thomas and Arnotts, Zurich, Fenergo, Intersport Elverys, Optimum Nutrition and Bord Gáis.

Facts: Dublin · English.

My take: the agency I would call first when SEO has to work hand in hand with paid search and analytics for a consumer or retail brand in Ireland. Best for: mid-size and large consumer brands and online retailers that want SEO, PPC and analytics from one award-winning team. Not for: very small budgets or one-off local SEO jobs.

2. Core Optimisation

B Corp growth agency from Shannon for SEO, GEO, paid media and PR

Core Optimisation is a B Corp-certified digital growth agency in the Shannon Free Zone, Co. Clare, with a Dublin presence. It covers SEO, generative-engine optimisation (GEO) for AI answers, content and CRO, alongside paid search, paid social and PR. Its website lists Best Use of SEO at the Digital Media Awards 2026 and a European Search Awards 2026 silver for a WaterWipes content campaign, and also mentions an EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 finalist place, the Deloitte Fast 500 and Great Place to Work 2026. DesignRush puts the team at 100–249 people. According to SoloCheck, the largest of its three shareholders is The Results Agency Limited; I did not check who owns that company.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. The strongest signal is its client list – Tesco, Glanbia, Tirlán, ARYZTA, Fáilte Ireland, WaterWipes and Riverdance – together with its 2026 SEO awards.

Facts: founded 2014 · Shannon · 100–249 people · English.

My take: my pick for a food or consumer brand that wants SEO and GEO tied into paid media and PR, from a large team based outside Dublin. Best for: consumer and food brands that want SEO and GEO integrated with paid media and PR from a large independent Irish agency. Not for: buyers who only want a cheap technical SEO audit.

3. Vroom Digital

Award-winning small Dublin agency for SEO, digital PR and Google Ads

Vroom Digital is a Dublin agency at 13 Adelaide Road, founded in 2012, that works on SEO, digital PR and link earning, Google Ads and paid social. According to its website it won Best Small Agency at the Digital Media Awards 2025 and several European and Global Search Awards in 2024 and 2025. Its case studies include UNICEF Ireland, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, Seiko Ireland and the Irish Aviation Authority, with some campaigns run in both English and Irish. The registered company is Lmi Marketing Limited, which holds the business names Vroom Digital, Vroom SEO and Vroom PPC; its company number is printed in the website footer.

What clients say. I found no Clutch profile, so there are no usable reviews. The strongest signal is its awards and case studies; other named clients include Europcar and PhoneWatch.

Facts: founded 2012 · Dublin (Adelaide Road) · English, Irish.

My take: the one I would brief when SEO needs digital PR and link earning from a senior, compact team. Best for: brands that want SEO combined with digital PR, link earning and paid search from a senior small team. Not for: buyers who need large multi-market enterprise programmes.

4. Social Gravity

SEO and Google Ads lead generation for home-service and local businesses

Social Gravity is a Dublin SEO and PPC agency; Clutch lists its work as SEO (50%), PPC (25%) and WordPress web design (25%). It specialises in lead generation for home-service businesses such as roofing, plumbing, solar and construction firms. Clutch gives its trading office as Windmill Lane in Dublin 2, while the registered office is in Blanchardstown. Clutch says it was founded in 2018; the company itself was incorporated in 2020, so it may have traded in another form before that.

What clients say. Clutch: 4.9/5 from 7 reviews. Reviewers praise a tailored strategy and detailed updates; one reports 162% more visitors in three months, and one wanted more initiative in meetings. Named clients include Clear Tax, HP Roofing Ireland and Duke & Duchess Jewelers.

Facts: founded 2018 · Dublin · 10–49 people · $100–149/h · minimum project $5,000 · English.

My take: a sensible choice for a local or home-service business that wants SEO and Google Ads to produce leads, with reviews to back it up. Best for: local and home-service businesses that want SEO plus Google Ads lead generation. Not for: enterprise brands or complex international SEO.

5. Riordan SEO

Small specialist SEO and GEO consultancy run by its founder

Riordan SEO is a small Irish SEO specialist run by Fintan Riordan, with bases in Dublin and Cork and a London address. Clutch lists its work as SEO (70%), PPC (20%) and web design (10%), with generative-engine optimisation (GEO) as its main SEO focus, and a mostly mid-market client base. Clutch says it was founded in 2016; the current company, Riordan Seo Limited, was formed in 2021 and is a micro company.

What clients say. Its Clutch profile has no reviews yet, so there are no usable reviews and no named clients I could confirm. The strongest signal is its narrow focus: SEO and GEO make up most of its work, and you deal with the founder directly.

Facts: founded 2016 · Dublin and Cork · 2–9 people · $100–149/h · minimum project $5,000 · English.

My take: worth a call for a mid-market company that wants a senior SEO and GEO specialist rather than a full-service agency. Best for: mid-market companies that want a senior SEO and GEO specialist rather than a full-service agency. Not for: buyers who want verified third-party reviews before hiring.

6. SEOWizard

Dublin micro-agency for local SEO and WordPress sites on small budgets

SEOWizard is a Dublin micro-agency founded in 2019 that offers local SEO, audits, AI SEO and penalty recovery, plus WordPress and e-commerce websites; Clutch lists its work as 60% SEO and 40% web design. The company number on its site is 689305; I could not read the registered name, so confirm the contracting company on core.cro.ie before you sign. Its privacy notice gives a registered office on Melville Way, Dublin 11.

What clients say. Clutch: 5.0/5 from 5 reviews. The reviewers are local SMEs and clubs, among them Shankill Tennis Club, Tech Spec and Finglas Fuels; they praise how available the team is and that it explains its changes and trains the client.

Facts: founded 2019 · Dublin · 2–9 people · $50–99/h · minimum project $1,000 · English.

My take: the low-cost option on this list for a small Irish business that needs local SEO – once you have confirmed the company behind it. Best for: small Irish businesses on modest budgets that need local SEO. Not for: international or enterprise SEO.

Quality, specialisation and what SEO agencies in Ireland charge

Only three SEO agencies in Ireland in this ranking show prices, all on Clutch: Social Gravity and Riordan SEO list $100–149 an hour with a $5,000 minimum project, and SEOWizard $50–99 with a $1,000 minimum. Wolfgang Digital, Core Optimisation and Vroom Digital quote after a briefing, usually as a monthly retainer. Clutch shows these figures in US dollars, but Irish agencies invoice in euros, which removes exchange-rate risk for buyers in the euro area.

Quality matters more than the hourly rate. The main split is between larger search and performance agencies that run SEO next to paid media (Wolfgang Digital, Core Optimisation), a small award-winning team strong in digital PR (Vroom Digital), lead-generation SEO for local businesses (Social Gravity, SEOWizard) and a founder-led SEO and GEO specialist (Riordan SEO).

How to choose an SEO agency in Ireland

Choosing an SEO agency in Ireland starts with the market you want to win:

  • Ireland only, or Ireland and the UK – Irish searchers see a mix of Irish and British results, and many Irish brands also sell in the UK. Ask for case studies from the markets you target, and whether the agency works with both google.ie and google.co.uk.
  • SEO alone or with paid media – Wolfgang Digital and Core Optimisation run SEO and PPC together; Riordan SEO is the option if you want SEO and GEO only.
  • Links and authority – if your site is sound but lacks authority, look for digital PR experience, as at Vroom Digital.
  • Language – English is the working language everywhere, so there is no translation layer. Irish (Gaeilge) matters only for some public-sector and cultural campaigns; Vroom Digital has run campaigns in both languages.
  • AI search – Core Optimisation and Riordan SEO sell GEO for AI answers; ask how they measure it.

Also check the paperwork when you hire an SEO agency in Ireland. Every Irish company has a CRO number; you can search it free on core.cro.ie, the Companies Registration Office portal, to see the status, registered office and filing history, and buy filed documents for a small fee. Many agencies trade under a business name that differs from the company name – Vroom Digital, for example, is Lmi Marketing Limited – so put the registered name and CRO number in the contract. Check the Irish VAT number (IE followed by digits and one or two letters) in the EU’s VIES database. If your business is in another EU country and gives its own VAT number, the reverse charge usually applies and the invoice carries no Irish VAT; for a business outside the EU, Irish VAT is in most cases not charged on these services. Confirm with your adviser – this is not legal or tax advice. Ireland runs on GMT in winter and Irish Standard Time (GMT+1) in summer, the same as the UK and one hour behind Central European Time.

Do SEO agencies in Ireland charge VAT to foreign clients?

No, SEO agencies in Ireland usually do not charge Irish VAT on B2B services to a business in another EU country that gives its VAT number – the reverse charge applies – and in most cases not to businesses outside the EU either. Confirm the treatment with your adviser; this is not tax advice.

Can SEO agencies in Ireland also handle SEO for the UK?

Yes, SEO agencies in Ireland often handle SEO for the UK as well, because the language is the same and many Irish clients sell there. Ask for UK case studies before you sign.

How much do SEO agencies in Ireland charge?

SEO agencies in Ireland charge about $50–149 an hour where they show a rate on Clutch, with minimum projects from $1,000 to $5,000. The larger agencies quote a monthly retainer in euros after a briefing.

How do I check an SEO agency in Ireland before signing?

To check an SEO agency in Ireland before signing, search its company name or CRO number on core.cro.ie and confirm that the status is normal and the registered name matches the contract. Then check its VAT number in VIES and ask for references from clients in your market.

My verdict: which SEO agency in Ireland to hire

Choosing among SEO agencies in Ireland depends on your budget and your problem. For SEO next to paid search and analytics, hire Wolfgang Digital. For SEO and GEO tied into paid media and PR for a consumer brand, hire Core Optimisation. For SEO driven by digital PR from a small senior team, hire Vroom Digital. For local lead generation, talk to Social Gravity, and for a pure SEO and GEO specialist, Riordan SEO.

Whichever SEO agency in Ireland you choose, agree the target markets, the reporting and the registered company you are signing with before the retainer starts.
